Child # 1’s birthday is quickly approaching. Her birthday is Dec 15th and she will be 7. She has told us she wants a child’s size guitar, she got 1 several years ago and it was broken. I reminded her of this and she insists she will take very good care of it. I am worried her 2 little sisters will break it if we buy one for her. I found one at a local store for only $20.00. I told her if she is a good girl maybe she will get it. So I guess I will have my husband stop at the store on his way home from work, we will have a small family party for her and she will get her present.
When I found out I was pregant with child # 1 everyone who found out she was due in Dec and right before Christmas told me that she would grow to be disapointed and her birthday would be overshadowed by Christmas. I made an effort each year to make sure that her birthday was not ignored and that we had a party for her. So far it is working out. I will alsways to make sure her birthday is a special day for her.

My 2nd daughter’s birthday is 12/24, so we’ve been having her parties on 11/24. It’s been going well, but some people have an issue with this. What’s up with that? The sad thing is it’s my side of the family!

Luckily her B-day is 12/15 so we have plenty of time before Christmas. That’s preaty neat what you do for your daughter. I wonder why your family has a problem with it. Some people can be so petty over nothing. I think they need issues, it makes them happy.
